I’m Kalie, the face (and hands, and everything else) behind Wild Heart.

I traded the Pacific Northwest for Rocky Top back in 2011, married a local in 2013, and we’ve been putting down roots in Maryville, Tennessee ever since. Jeremy and I are girl parents to Ellie, Evie, and Emmie, plus two beagle mixes, Daisy and Duke, who run the house whether we like it or not.

My love for design started with photography as a teenager and turned into graphic and web design in my early twenties. I earned my degree in Media Technologies: Design for Web and Print from Pellissippi State, where I learned the best projects still start simply, with pen, paper, and an idea.

What's the process like?

1. Connect

You’ll reach out through my contact form, fill out a quick questionnaire, and if it’s helpful, we’ll hop on a call to talk it all through. I start by getting to know your business, your goals, and the clients you actually want to attract.

2. Confirm

Once we’ve talked things through, you’ll get a proposal with dates, pricing, and the number of feedback rounds included, so nothing’s a surprise later. From there, you’ll sign the contract and pay the deposit, and we’re officially underway.

3. Create

I’ll start with a mood board or wireframe to lock in the creative direction, digging into your industry and competitors along the way. From there, I get to work and present the design, going through feedback together with the number of rounds always agreed on up front.

4. Celebrate

Once everything’s ready, it goes live. You walk away with something you’re actually proud to send people to, whether that’s a website link or a business card with your new logo on it, and it’s built to be easy to manage and grow with you.
