Here’s a closer look at what actually happens once you reach out, whether you’re after branding, a website, SEO, or some combination of the three.

1. Connect

Every project starts the same way: me getting to know you and what you’re hoping to build. You fill out my contact form with a bit about your project, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire so I’m not showing up to our call blind, and then, if it’s helpful, we hop on a discovery call to talk through your goals and what you’re picturing. Not every project needs the call. If you already know exactly what you want, we can skip straight to a proposal.

2. Confirm

Once we’ve talked things through, I’ll put together a proposal so you know exactly what to expect before we start. It covers dates, pricing, and what’s included, laid out clearly enough that nothing surprises you later. After you’ve signed the proposal, signed the contract, and paid the deposit, we’re ready to get started!

3. Create

This is where things actually take shape, and what it looks like depends on what we’re working on together.

Branding

I start with a mood board to lock in the creative direction, taking a look at your industry and competitors along the way. From there I move into your logo, typography, and color palette, then the rest of your brand assets like business cards and social templates. We go through feedback together at each stage, and the number of rounds is always agreed on up front.

I usually present one strong logo direction rather than a handful to choose between. It’s tempting to think more options means more control, but when people see two or three, they tend to want to mix pieces from each, and that almost never turns out as well as one focused concept does.

Web Design

I usually start by having you send over your content, so I know what I’m actually designing around before anything gets laid out. Depending on the project, I might build a wireframe first to map out pages and structure, but that’s not always part of it. From there I get to work on the design, presenting pages for your feedback as we go. You’re always guaranteed at least one round of revisions, so if the first pass isn’t quite it, we’ve got room to get there.

Since I design around what you send me, the biggest thing that speeds a website along is how quickly you can get your content over. If you’re not sure where to even start with that, that’s alright, I can help you figure out what you actually need to write.

SEO

Keyword research and a look at your site’s current performance come first. Then I optimize your pages, set up your Google Business Profile, and make sure you’re actually built to be found, not just told you are. Depending on the project, this can also include Google Analytics setup or blog content.

SEO isn’t instant, and I’d rather tell you that now than have you expecting overnight results. Most sites start seeing real movement within 3 to 6 months, and it keeps building the longer it’s in place.

4. Celebrate

Once everything’s ready, you walk away with something you’re actually proud to put your name on.

For branding, that means all your files exported in a way that’s easy for you to use, plus simple guidelines so you know how to keep things consistent going forward.

For web design, it means your site goes live, built to be easy to manage, and I’ll walk you through how to make simple updates yourself.

For SEO, I’ll show you where things stand, what’s been done, and what’s next, since SEO keeps building over time rather than being a one-and-done fix.
