SQUARESPACE WEBSITE DESIGN

Squarespace Websites That Actually Look Like You

A lot of people come to me with a Squarespace site they started on their own. They picked a template, got the homepage mostly there, and then got stuck somewhere between “this looks okay” and “this looks like my business.” If that sounds familiar, you’re in good company, and you don’t have to throw out what you’ve done.

the good news

Squarespace is a great platform for a lot of small businesses. Hosting, security and updates are all handled for you, and once it’s built well, it’s genuinely easy to keep up with yourself.

The hard part is getting it to feel custom instead of like the same template everyone else picked. That’s the part I help with.

What's included

What you get with a Squarespace site from me

No template look

Your brand carried through every page, not just the header.

A site you can run yourself

Set up so changing text, photos and products is simple, and I’ll show you how.

Basic SEO, built in

Page titles, meta descriptions and optimized images, which help search engines understand your site and show it in Google.

Search Console + Analytics

Set up before launch, so you can see who’s finding you and how.

Checked on mobile

Every page, since that’s where most of your visitors will be.

Your account, your name

The site belongs to you from day one.

How I can help

Two ways to work together

starting fresh

A new Squarespace site designed around your brand and your content from the ground up, with the layout, fonts and colors set up so everything stays consistent as you add to it.

finishing what you started

Already started something on Squarespace? I’ll look at what’s working and what isn’t, then bring the whole site up to where it should be. That might mean branding applied sitewide, a cleaner mobile layout, a reworked homepage, or a waitlist form or coming soon page.

The Right Fit

Is Squarespace right for you?

a great fit

If you want a beautiful site you can manage on your own, without thinking about hosting, plugins or updates. Especially good for service businesses, creatives, and anyone whose site is mostly about showing who they are and making it easy to get in touch.

maybe not

If you’re planning to grow into something more complex, like a large blog, a membership area or a bigger online store. WordPress usually makes more sense there, and I’ll tell you honestly which one I’d pick for you.

Squarespace FAQs

Absolutely, and that’s one of my favorite kinds of projects. I’ll look through what you’ve built, keep what’s working, and fix what isn’t. You won’t have to start over unless it actually makes sense to.

You do. The Squarespace account stays in your name, and you’ll have full access to everything. If you ever want to make changes yourself or work with someone else, nothing is locked up.

It really comes down to whether you’re selling online and whether you need anything custom added to the site. I’ll tell you which plan fits before we start, so you’re not paying for features you won’t use or finding out later that you need an upgrade.

Yes. Squarespace handles the technical upkeep, but if you’d rather hand off updates and changes instead of doing them yourself, I can take care of those too.

Most new sites take two to four weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the number of pages and how ready your content is. Finishing or refreshing a site you’ve already started is often quicker.
