WORDPRESS WEBSITE DESIGN

WordPress Websites Built to Grow With Your Business

WordPress is the platform I reach for when a business needs room to grow. Maybe you’re planning to add services next year, start a blog that actually brings people in, sell a few products, or add a booking or membership piece down the road. WordPress can handle all of that without starting over, which is really the whole point of choosing it.

the honest part

The trade-off is that WordPress needs looking after. Plugins update, security matters, and a site that’s left alone for a year or two starts to slow down and break in small, annoying ways.

So when I build on WordPress, I don’t just hand you a login and wave goodbye. I can host it, keep it updated, and be the person you call when something needs changing.

What's included

What you get with a WordPress site from me

A custom design

Built around your content and your brand, not a template with your logo dropped in.

An editor you can use

Updating your hours, a photo or a page of text doesn’t mean emailing someone.

Basic SEO, built in

Page titles, meta descriptions and optimized images, which help search engines understand your site and show it in Google.

Search Console + Analytics

Set up at launch, so you can see who’s finding you and how.

Room for what's next

Ecommerce, a blog, a portfolio, or something you haven’t thought of yet.

Full ownership

Your domain stays in your name, and the site is yours to keep or move whenever you like.

AFTER LAUNCH

Hosting and care plans

This is where WordPress really differs from an all-in-one platform. Somebody has to handle the updates, backups and security, and it’s much better when that’s someone who knows your site.

If you’d rather handle it yourself or keep your current host, that’s completely fine too.

Essential Care

Updates, backups and security checks for sites hosted elsewhere

Hosted Care

Hosting on my server, SSL, uptime monitoring and weekly updates

Hosted Care Plus

Everything in Hosted Care, plus monthly hours for changes

The Right Fit

Is WordPress right for you?

a great fit

If your site needs to do more than one job, if you’re planning to grow into it, or if you want SEO and content to be a real part of how people find you.

maybe not

If you want something simple you can fully manage yourself and never think about plugins or hosting. Squarespace is often the better call there, and I’ll happily tell you so.

WordPress FAQs

Yes, and I’d actually encourage it. I build so that the everyday things, like text, photos, hours and blog posts, are easy to change on your own. For bigger changes, or if you’d rather not touch it at all, that’s what the care plans are for.

Not at all. Some clients host with me, and others keep their site with a host they already use. If you do host with me, you can take your site elsewhere anytime. Your domain stays in your name and I’ll hand over the full site whenever you ask.

Yes. I’ll start by looking at where things stand, what’s working, what’s outdated, and whether the current setup is worth keeping. Sometimes that means a few fixes and a care plan. Sometimes it means a fresh build. Either way, you’ll get an honest read before you spend anything.

Most sites take two to four weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how many pages you need and how ready your content is. Ecommerce and larger builds can take a bit longer, and I’ll give you a realistic timeline up front.

It’s one of the most flexible platforms for it. You have full control over page titles, descriptions, site structure and speed, which is a big part of why I use it for clients who want search to be a real source of new customers.

let's talk

Whether you're ready to jump in or just curious about what a project would look like, I'd love to hear from you.

Tell me a little about your business and what’s been bugging you about how it looks right now, and I’ll be honest about what I’d recommend.
