B&M General Contractors

B&M General Contractors (formerly Blalock & Murray) is a general contractor based in Maryville, Tennessee, building custom homes, additions, and remodels across Blount County, Knox County, and the surrounding area. I stepped in partway through their website project and helped bring it across the finish line with a cleaner layout, simpler structure, and a site that actually shows off the quality of their work.

Once the new site launched, I kept going with the SEO side of things. I restructured their service pages so each one matched what people are actually searching for, like renaming “new construction” to “custom homes,” and rewrote their page titles and meta descriptions to give every page a better shot in Google. I also added local business, service, and FAQ schema, which helps search engines understand exactly what B&M does and where they work.

I built out project pages for homes like the Herman Residence and Creekstone Residence too, so their best work can be found in search instead of living only in a photo gallery. These days I handle their site maintenance, running updates and keeping an eye out for any issues, so whenever they finish a new project or need a change, they send me a quick note and I take care of it. It’s the kind of project I love, where the website keeps working for them long after launch.
